OFFICE STRUCTURE ANNOUNCEMENT

Monday, 8 December 2014

Ayrshire NZ announces the resignation of Pam Goodin effective 23 December 2014.  Pam has worked for the Association since 1998, the last 10 years as sole charge Manager.  Pam is joining the management team of Jersey New Zealand in the newly created position of Breed Services Manager.

In a further development for New Zealand Breed Societies,  Jersey New Zealand and Ayrshire New Zealand announce that they have agreed to enter into a Memorandum of Understanding.  This joint venture will see the administration of both Associations merge.  Also included will be the administration for the New Zealand Milking Shorthorn Association, which is currently undertaken by Ayrshire New Zealand.  With  each Association maintaining autonomy of Boards, members and finances, all operational activities will be administered from the Jersey New Zealand office at the LIC campus in Hamilton, where both Associations are currently based.  Further restructuring of Jersey New Zealand staffing requirements will take place over the coming months.

UPDATE FROM AYRWAVES 19 DECEMBER 2014

By now most of you will be aware that Pam is leaving our employment.  Her last day will be  23 December 2014. Pam has taken up a new role as Breed Services Manager with Jersey New Zealand.

Ayrshire New Zealand has reached agreement with Jersey New Zealand, that all office administration will now be undertaken by Pam along with other staff as required from the Jersey office.  While the verbal agreement is yet to be finalised and signed off it is the intention that Pam will remain in effect ‘Manager’ for both Ayrshire NZ and NZ Milking Shorthorn Assn.  Each Association will retain autonomy of their Boards, members and finances.  Pam will retain specific responsibility for all Board matters, finances and reporting and as editor of the Bulletin. As Breed Services Manager she will also oversee all other Ayrshire NZ requirements.  This structure will not cost any more than our current structure.  While you may notice some changes over the coming months, most activities of the Association will carry on as before.
