Premier Danehill Frost, E8-9, owned by Derek and Catherine Hayward of Premier Cattle Co Ltd of Cambridge is the 2013 DZ Dairy Event Supreme Ayrshire Champion. Frost is a 7 year old cow sired by NZ bull Arran Tri Danehill. She was also named as Best Uddered Ayshire Senior Cow.

NZDE AWARD FOR SELWYN DONALD
At the New Zealand Dairy Event held at Manfeild Park, Fielding from 30 Jan - 1 Feb 2013, the NZ Dairy Event Trophy for Outstanding Achievement and Service contributing to the New Zealand Dairy Stud Stock industry was awarded to Selwyn Donald of Arran Ayrshires, Featherston.
Selwyn is a prominent Ayrshire Judge and a past Ayrshire Board member. He is also the immediate past Chairman of NZ Dairy Event. Congratulations to Selwyn on behalf of all Ayrshire New Zealand members.
SUMMER SENSATION SALE
Another successful Sale was held in conjunction with the New Zealand Dairy Event at Manfeild Park in Feilding on Thursday 31 January. Sale Average $4039, Ayrshire average $4125 (top breed average for sale).
Top priced Ayrshire was Brookview Secrecy Lot2 ET owned by Steiner Partnership, Tokoroa. Lot2 is a calf sired by Plum Bottom Tridents Lot out of famed show cow Brookview Secrecy on Par, Exc and was sold for $6,200.
