    Loading ramp for trucks and parking for vehicles with trailers. Toilet.
    Wash bay and clipping frame set up.
  • Classes Commence: Saturday 3 April at 11am.

CLASSES

Senior Calf with Senior Exhibitor
Calf to be born 1st June 2020- 31st July 2020. Handler must be aged 14-21 years on day of competition.

Senior Calf with Junior Exhibitor
Calf to be born 1st June 2020- 31st July 2020. Handler must be aged 13 years or younger on day of competition.

Junior Calf with Senior Exhibitor
Calf to be born 1st August 2020- 31st October 2020. Handler must be aged 14-21 years on day of competition.

Junior Calf with Junior Exhibitor
Calf to be born 1st August 2020- 31st October 2020. Handler must be 13 years or younger on day of competition.

Champion Calf:
Reserve Champion Calf:

  1. Senior Handler – 14-21 years .
  2. Junior Handler – 13 years and under.
    TV Jersey Club Ribbons 1st-5th in classes 1-4
    Bell Booth Ribbons 1st-5th in classes 5 & 6

Rules:

  • All competitors must be 21 years of age and under.
  • Calves must be eligible for registration by the respective breeds.
  • All leaders of cattle must be in accepted breed uniform while exhibiting calves.
  • Exhibitors must follow the biosecurity obligations stated below.

Exhibitors Biosecurity Obligations:

  • Provide a TB Animal Status Declaration Card. This is a legal requirement for all animals being moved. All animals entered must be accompanied in transit by a signed and dated TB Animal Status Declaration Card showing a TB clear status in accordance with present legislation. Animal individual numbers must be included on the TB test sheet.
    These cards may be inspected at the unloading area.
  • Animals on properties under any suspicion of exposure to Mycoplasma Bovis should not be transported to show and events.
  • Animals showing clinical signs of ANY disease should not be transported to shows, as per normal biosecurity practice.
  • Make sure your cattle are tagged and registered with NAIT.
  • Keep your NAIT movements up-to-date and accurate and record movements to and from the event. This can be done up to 48 hours before show day and a tick box is available to indicate that the animal will be going home after the show which automates the sending movements back to the house farm.
  • Practice good on-farm biosecurity and clean and disinfect outerwear, boots and equipment before attending a show or event. On your return clean and disinfect again before taking outwear, boots and equipment back onto your farm.
