Congratulations to all vendors and purchasers in last nights hugely successful SOUTHERN LIGHTS INVITATION SALE  in Invercargill and on bidr at the Southland/Otago Conference Tour.  The records were tumbling, with the sale setting new breed records for Special sale average; In-calf heifer average and top price in-calf heifer.

17 lots av. $5900.  9 yearling heifers av. $4866; 7 in-calf heifers av. $7114; 1 cow $6800

Top price for sale at $16,000 was the in-calf heifer Lot 1 Ingleside Avatar sired by Palmyra Ruth’s Rushmore ET out of Ingleside Spark Ava, B6-8 Vendor Ingleside Ltd (Ross Morton); purchasers Gemma Kelly & Peter Addison.

Top price yearling heifer at $9,000 was Lot 6 Luckville Reynolds Debe sired by Palmyra Lochinvar Reynolds ET out of Luckville Burdette Debe, E9-9.  Vendor Steven Carrington; purchasers Sunshine Ayrshires – Bob & Nikki Lawson.
